An Attorney Prepared to Assist Nonprofit Clients
Kathryn Vanden Berk focuses on a client base that is almost entirely nonprofit organizations. She advises nonprofits on a wide variety of issues, including corporate matters, 501(c) tax exemptions, sales and property tax exemptions, leases, contracts, trademark, property transfers and employment issues.

Ms. Vanden Berk was legal counsel to a number of health-related trade associations in Madison, Wisconsin, before serving as the president of two residential treatment centers for children.

She currently is adjunct faculty for the Axelson Center for Nonprofit Management at North Park University. Her published articles and newsletters offer useful information in a useable format, and are available elsewhere on this site.
